Always my go to for scratch removal especially on hard paint. Finishes down nicely to follow up with 2400

I purchased Menzerna 400 Heavy Cut approximately a Month ago. Since then I’ve used on a 3 Nissans, 1998 Chevy farm truck, a gel coat boat, 2005 Jeep Tj and restored numerous headlights to perfection. This stuff cuts hard but finishes crystal clear even though I’ve been using mainly heavy cut microfiber and Griots orange pads on a Griots G9. I still have several ounces left from original 32 oz bottle so a little goes a long way. Only complaint it can dust lightly in real hot weather or if it’s worked too long. Highly recommend trying this since it cuts well and I’ve tried following up with light polish teamed with light foam pad and no changes in the results it finishes that well. Very happy with this product - whether it be working through gelcoat via rotary followed by forced da and just altering my cut/polish pads or clear coat it never lets me down. Finishes with minimal dust. Took heavily scratched clear coat on my 24 year old H1 and finished beautifully with a microfiber pad.

Great cutting compound paired with lake country pads! Will definitely be using time and time again

Use this product on my boat with a orange pad and rotary. Great shine.

Expensive but worth every penny! USed other compounds but this had lots of working time to make a couple passes, takes out swirls and scratches on a DA polisher! No need to reach for a wool pad with a rotary ! Any beginner or novice can use this and appreciate it, as a detailer I use this for my customers since quality is what they deserve, this bottle can last me roughly 20 cars as a single step followed by either a polish or wax depending on customer needs etc production detail vs showroom quality. Anyways will order a large 128 oz love this stuff!!!! This f3 had major swirls and scratches and it came out with this compound using a DA...Came out amazing with that hi gloss + Wax...Speaks for itself

I don't use this for detailing. I use it for color sanding new paint. It will easily remove 1500 grit sand scratches, and bring out a sweet shine like no other compound. When used with a wool pad on a rotary polisher, it takes a lot of work out of color sanding, and makes your paint look so much better than the traditional rubbing compounds still used in autobody and collision work. No need for expensive super fine grit papers and discs. You can stop at 1500 grit, and still produce a superior show car finish, without the effort and cost. The best 1st stage compound on the market.

I've read so many great things about the Menzerna FG-400 so I decided to give it a try. A must have for those nasty paint corrections. I'm now a Menzerna fan.

This product is without a doubt a game changer for me as a part time detailer. I have been able to do 1 steps with this product that finished down to near perfection. One of my fave products to use and talk about.

I wish I had ordered this compound a long time ago. Once I tried it I realized how superior it is to most other compounds out there. It has a long working time, takes out almost all defects in just a few passed. Works with my rotary buffer or my forced rotation dual action polisher with any pad from wool to foam jewelling. I have used it with at least a dozen different pads and all of the results are excellent!

So I have always just used polishes in the past... NOT ANY MORE!!! Yes I will still use polishes to get that "perfect shine," however, FG-400 will be a key player in my paint correction arsenal from here on out. First thing I love about this stuff is that it really works fast to get rid of deeper scratches in the paint. Also, it makes a joke of swirl marks and the like. Second thing I like is the working time. Doesn't dry out nearly as fast as the polishes I use. I had to get used to not working the FG-400 so long as I am used to being done when the polish flashed, or in most cases, dried out. So now I just pay attention more to the paint than the product. I am still having issues with VERY deep scratches, and I may need to move down to something just a little more aggressive for those purposes. But in the long haul, FG-400 will probably take care of 99% of what I say day to day on customer's vehicles.

Using FG 400 to compound out 1200 grit scratches from wet sanding. Works great with orange hybird pad and the flex 3401. 4 0r 5 passes is all that is needed. wonderful product!

This product will correct all but the very worst defects but it makes a bunch of powdery dust.

I love this compound, got introduced to this compound early in my detailing experience. I love the amount of work I can accomplish with this compound. Easy to work with and apply.

With orange pad FG400 removed all imperfections on a heavily scratched and oxidized AMG CL550 daily driver. I was able to skip menzerna's Super intensive polish and follow up immediately with a final polish for a flawless finish. NO dusting, and no swirling. What a time saver! I'll deal with the noxious petroleum odor, this stuff is GOLD.

Used with Orange pad on MDX. Removed ALL RIDS and 95% of heavy scratches. Stronger petroleum smell but that was the only downside. Highly recommended.
